From the Pastor's Pen---
Dear Fellow Travelers in Christ Jesus,
There is nothing more assuring in these times than to walk in the wonderful light of our Lord, Jesus; when I say that, I am referring to the knowledge provided by His teaching on how to live life to the fullest and in the complete confidence that all will be made whole. Whatever is broken will be made whole; or need fixing will be fixed; or lifted up will be raised. That's the reason why we Christians smile so much. It's not that all is going well necessarily, at any given moment, but to know that all will be made right.
At Memorial Presbyterian Church we have been lifting up the message of Jesus with respect to hopeful and righteous living. We are encouraged by the reality of the Holy Spirit and the direction He takes us. The power we possess is invisible to the world because it cannot see the Spirit of God.
We don't see it either, but we feel it. We know that we have it. It surrounds us with the knowledge of new possibilities and other options in a world where things are done pretty much the same way. We have learned to do things differently and to do them with great joy. The church is a good place to be and Memorial is open to be lead by God's Spirit.
I hope all of you grow in your journey with Christ Jesus and celebrate each day, no matter what, with the joy and Love of the Lord. Remember to Love each other.
Yours in Christ,
Rev. Reginald Tuggle, Sr. Pastor
